Just finishing up little projects:
Mounted the nameplate in the left side hatch.
Varnished the blocks for locking down the spare oars.
Laced on the oar sleeves of the other two oars.
Filled the oarlock side of the oarstop with epoxy filler to smooth it out.
Hot waxed the leather oar sleeve and oar stop with a couple rounds of left over ski wax.
The heat from the iron seemed to help the leather soak up the wax.
Built a folding table with plywood scraps and some found pieces of fir. My Dad made some nice looking table legs from the spare pieces of ash.
My Dad made a really sweet little kitchen utensils box.
I sealed it with epoxy, did some minor fairing and painted it.
Made a seat for the "groover".
Painted the groover in a Gucci theme.
